Workplace Consultation Course- “WH&S Committee Training"

Duration 24 Hours

WorkCover accredited, this course over 5 days, is a requirement under the WH&S regulation 2011, suitable for  WH&S committee members or representatives. It covers workplace health and safety, the role of consultative committee, systematic management of OH&S, continuous safety improvement and accident investigation.

Participants must be able to produce Personal Identification to WorkCover’s satisfaction before starting the course.

 

Risk Management for Managers and Supervisors

Duration 12 Hours

WorkCover developed, this course is designed for people with supervisory or managerial responsibilities. It aims to provide participants with the knowledge and skills needed to adhere to the requirements of the current NSW OH&S Act 2011 and Regulation 2011. The course focuses on applying the principles of risk management as an integral part of an effective OH&S management system.

 

Risk Management for Supervisors

Duration 6 Hours

WorkCover developed, this course outlines the responsibilities supervisors and managers face have under the NSW WH&S Act 2011 and the Regulation 2011. It aims to give participants the principals of a risk management approach to safety. It focuses on changing  attitudes to safety in the workplace, to enable supervisors to more effectively manage health and safety.

 

 

Occupational Health and Safety Consultancy

Duration: As required

Work with WH&S committees to identify hazards, undertake risk assessments, develop safety plans, assess work sites & develop individualised safety systems for each situation.

The consultant brings more than 30 years heavy industrial, mining and and food industry experience and can include manual handling training tailored to specific sites to comply with the WorkCover code of practice and the WH&S Regulation 2011.
